| Fern Eng completed her
undergraduate degree at Stanford University in 1973 in
art history. After working several years in the arts community
in San Francisco, she moved to Eugene to attend law school,
completing her studies at the University of Oregon in
1981. Fern had a distinguished academic record, finishing
near the top of her class. Fern also served as a law clerk
for the Honorable Maurice K. Merten for one year before
commencing her partnership with Dan Neal in 1983. READ
